We’re always happy to hear from you and have set up several easy ways to stay in touch. Whether you’re a prospective client with questions or a current client who needs support, our team is here to help.
You can reach Clean Bees through the following channels:
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
While cleanings take place Monday through Saturday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, our office hours are intentionally shorter. This allows our leadership team to be fully available to support, train, and communicate with our cleaning teams during the first and last hours of each workday—when they need us most.
If you reach out outside of office hours, no worries. We’ll respond as soon as possible on the next business day.
To make communication quick, clear, and efficient, we use a Client Request Form. This form allows you to submit common requests without needing to call or email, helping our team respond faster and more accurately.
The Client Request Form is the best way to handle common requests, including:
Using the form ensures your request is routed directly to the right team member and documented clearly, which helps us resolve it as quickly as possible.

How to Prepare for Your Cleaning Service (and Get the Most Bang for Your Buck!)
Whether you’re hiring Clean Bees for a one-time deep clean or recurring weekly, biweekly, or monthly housekeeping, a few simple steps before cleaning day can make all the difference.
Think of it as setting the stage for your home to truly shine — and for our cleaning professionals to focus their time and attention on what matters most.
The Basics (Essential Prep)
These steps aren’t glamorous, but they’re essential. Completing them before your cleaning team arrives allows us to work efficiently, safely, and deliver the best possible results.
Go ahead a make a big precleaning mess!!
Want your clean to last even longer? Many clients like to plan small tasks before we arrive so we can handle the cleanup afterward.
Why “Cleaning Before the Cleaners” Isn’t Crazy
It might feel counterintuitive, but a little prep allows our team to spend 100% of their time doing what you hired us for: deep cleaning, detailing, and restoring shine.
When we’re not navigating clutter or moving piles, every surface, fixture, and finish gets more focused attention. The result? A noticeably better clean and a home that stays fresh longer between visits.
Absolutely — we love furry friends!
That said, pets can react differently when their owners aren’t home, especially with new people, unfamiliar equipment, and the sounds of cleaning. For everyone’s safety and peace of mind, we ask clients to consider their pet’s comfort level.
If your dog is anxious or wary of strangers, we recommend securing them in a room that isn’t being cleaned or arranging doggie daycare during service.
If your dog is friendly and comfortable with visitors, they’re welcome to roam freely while we clean.
With your permission, our team is happy to:
Our goal is always a calm, safe environment — for your pet, our team, and your home.
In most residential neighborhoods, our teams will park on the street.
The only exceptions are:
Outside of these scenarios, driveway parking is not required.
We aim to make entry secure, simple, and consistent for both our clients and our teams.
Our preferred entry methods are:
If neither option works for your home, alternative arrangements can be made in rare cases. Our team will work with you to find a solution that maintains security while ensuring reliable access on cleaning days.
Yes we sure do.
We primarily use eco-friendly cleaning products that are effective, responsible, and safe for people, pets, and homes.
Most surfaces in your home can be cleaned thoroughly with high-quality soap and water. For tougher jobs or specific situations, our teams also carry a small number of traditional products (such as bleach) as a backup when necessary.
If you’d like a detailed look at the products we use, you can view them here.
If you have sensitivities, preferences, or products you’d like us to avoid, just let us know — we’re happy to customize within reason.
We come fully prepared (almost).
We provide nearly all cleaning supplies and tools needed for your service. There are just a few items we ask clients to supply:
Everything else — from sprays and cloths to specialty tools — is brought by our team. View our products.
Yes! We know how important consistency is — for both our clients and our cleaners.
To the best of our ability, we keep the same cleaning team (and alternate fill in) is assigned to your home, so you’ll see familiar Bees who already know your preferences and priorities. Our service area is divided into four geographic quadrants, with dedicated team members working routes close to their own homes.
This approach allows us to:
If a substitute is required, they will typically come from the same route, meaning you’re still likely to see familiar face, if an alternate staff member is needed for the day.
To ensure nothing is ever missed, every client has a detailed work order outlining the home, focus areas, and specific preferences. This allows any trained team member to step in seamlessly and deliver the same high-quality service — even if one of your regular Bees is out.
While we can’t guarantee the same individual at every visit, our systems are designed to make our team of 45+ cleaners feel like a much smaller, personal crew in your home. We strive to give you the exact same outcome no matter who is assigned to your home.
Quality starts with who we hire and how we train. Our cleaners receive ongoing coaching and support to consistently uphold Clean Bees standards.
We use a foundational checklist to ensure core tasks are completed at every visit, then layer in your unique preferences to create a detailed, room-by-room work order. This work order evolves over time as your household needs change.
To support consistency and accountability:
If something is ever missed, your account manager can send the team back for a touchup — no hassle.
We believe great service isn’t just about getting it right the first time. It’s also about how quickly and thoughtfully we respond when things don’t go as planned. With Clean Bees, your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed.
After each cleaning, you’ll receive a post-cleaning survey via email, and we truly value feedback after nearly every service.
The first 90 days of repeat service are critical. During this time:
We love knowing what you notice — what you love and what could be improved. This feedback allows us to customize the service to be as unique as you are.
After approximately 90 days, most work orders are fully dialed in and set up for longterm success. That said, ongoing feedback is always appreciated. Our cleaners are highly motivated to make you happy and love knowing when they’ve gotten it right, or in the rare case they didn’t we will head right back and correct any errors.
Yes — we stand behind our work 100%.
After every visit, you’ll receive a post-cleaning survey where you can:
Your feedback isn’t just noted — it’s actionable. Anything important to you is added directly to your work order so every cleaner knows exactly how to meet your expectations going forward.
If something is missed, we ask for the opportunity to make it right:
For example, if a detail like how you like your bed made is missed, we don’t just fix it — we retrain the team & edit your workorder so future cleanings are consistently spot-on.
Our promise:
By sharing feedback and allowing us to correct issues, you’re helping both your home and our company grow. That partnership matters to us.
A re-clean simply means we missed the mark.
We perform thousands of cleanings every year, and a full-home re-clean might happen once a year — if that. Much more commonly, a re-clean involves a small area, such as:
No matter the size or scope, our response is the same: we return as soon as possible to correct the issue.
Small touch-ups might occur once a week, which is minimal when you consider how many hundreds of homes we clean each month. We often say that you usually see Superior Service, Spotless Living the first time — but sometimes you see true excellence in how we respond when we miss the mark.
We’re human, not robots, and we clean hundreds of thousands of square feet. Small mistakes can happen. When they do, we:
That’s our commitment.
We aim to be a long-term cleaning partner, not just a short-term service. When you begin a recurring cleaning plan with Clean Bees, the first 90 days are considered an intentional setup period where we closely monitor and fine-tune your account.
During your initial consultation, we spend about 45 minutes getting to know what matters most to you—both big picture and room by room. While we do our very best to capture everything upfront, it’s natural that we’ll learn even more about your preferences once service begins. The 90-day review process allows us to do exactly that.
What happens during the first 90 days?
During this onboarding period:
We encourage you to share:
In the rare case that something isn’t cleaned to your expectations, your honesty helps us quickly dial things in.
All feedback you provide is:
We also ask our cleaners to contribute notes, tips, or recommendations that can help set your home up for long-term success.
At approximately the 90-day point (give or take), your salesperson will complete a formal account review. This includes:
This is the moment when your account is officially set.
If any adjustments are needed we will be in touch to set:
they are addressed here, with the goal of finalizing every last detail.
By the end of the 90-day review:
This process allows us to deliver the level of service Clean Bees is known for—consistently, efficiently, and with care.
Yes — we are contract-free, with a few important considerations.
When people talk about “absolutely loving their cleaning service”, we believe it comes down to communication and partnership. While we don’t require a long-term contract, we do ask for the opportunity to listen, learn, and make things right if something isn’t meeting your expectations.
If something feels off, we’d much rather know about it and correct the issue than have you quietly move on. One of our core values is being growth-minded — no one gets in trouble here. We use constructive criticism to improve systems, refine training, and do our jobs better and better.
Our goal is to be your cleaning partner for a lifetime — not because you’re locked into an agreement, but because we consistently get your cleaning right and make a meaningful, positive impact in your home.
If you ever decide to pause service, move on, or take cleaning back onto yourself, we kindly ask for at least two weeks’ notice. This notice period matters. It allows us to keep our cleaners’ schedules full and supports the steady paychecks they count on.
In short: no contracts, no pressure — just clear communication, mutual respect, and service that earns your trust over time.
Yes — absolutely.
With more than 25 years of licensing in Northern Colorado, Clean Bees is fully bonded (a bond that has never been used) and fully insured. This means your home — and your service — is protected from start to finish, even for a one-time cleaning. That coverage removes liability from your shoulders and provides peace of mind from the moment we arrive.
Equally important is who we send into your home.
Our cleaners are employees, not independent contractors, and are carefully vetted, trained, and supported. They are high-caliber professionals who receive daily coaching and ongoing development, and who take real pride in their work. They do their best to not break or damage things during your cleaning but if something major happens, we are insured.
With Clean Bees, you don’t just get proper coverage — you get trusted people delivering a thorough, professional clean every time.
If there’s an item in your home or office that carries significant value—whether financial or sentimental—and would be difficult or impossible to replace, we ask that it be omitted from your cleaning (¬ed on your workorder) or simply put away on cleaning day. These are the kinds of things that, if damaged, could truly break your heart, and it’s best for all involved that we are not responsible for them. No one wants to make that phone call or receive it! Protecting your most precious items helps us focus on delivering a great clean with peace of mind for everyone.
While we make it a habit to practice the utmost care and concern when cleaning, accidents do happen. A full-time cleaner can touch thousands of items in a week, so the likelihood that we will eventually be the ones to break or damage something is an unfortunate reality. That said, we do our very best to minimize these incidents. In the rare event that something is broken or damaged during your cleaning, we will work with you to remedy the situation appropriately.
Here’s what you can expect:
If something is broken or damaged during a cleaning, our team takes it seriously and feels genuine disappointment. That said, Clean Bees cannot take financial responsibility for every item — some things are simply too fragile, worn, or prone to damage through normal use.
While unfortunate, Clean Bees cannot accept financial responsibility when the correct product, tool, or technique is used and damage is still the result. For example:
Clean Bees will accept appropriate financial responsibility when true accidents occur, or when an incorrect product, tool, or technique is used and damage results. Examples include:
So, what does “accept appropriate financial responsibility” mean? It means that if an item can be repaired, we ask that you obtain a quote. If repair is not an option, we will ask that you consider the age, condition, and current market value of the item for a fair reimbursement. Once agreed-upon, we can cut you a check or credit your account.
Here are a few real-life examples of how Clean Bees has handled damage in the past:
By signing up for service, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
But really, if there’s an item in your home or office that carries significant value—whether financial or sentimental—and would be difficult or impossible to replace, we ask that it be omitted from your cleaning or simply put away on cleaning day. These are the kinds of things that, if damaged, could truly break your heart, and it’s best for all involved that we are not responsible for them. No one wants to make that phone call or receive it!
Protecting your most precious items helps us focus on delivering a great clean with peace of mind for everyone.
Blinds are one of the most delicate and commonly affected items we encounter during cleanings, and we want to be very transparent about how we handle them.
Our team takes great care and uses proper technique when cleaning blinds — whether they are plastic, vinyl, or metal. However, blinds are also one of the most fragile and age-sensitive features in a home.
Over time, exposure to sunlight, heat, and normal use can cause blinds to become:
Because cleaning requires us to touch, adjust, and move the blinds, even the most careful technique can sometimes result in breakage — particularly with:
If this happens, it is typically not due to improper cleaning, but rather the condition of the material itself.
Per our broken and damaged item policy, Clean Bees does not accept financial responsibility for blinds that break when the correct tools, products, and techniques are used.
We understand this can be frustrating, and we never take these situations lightly. Our goal is always to clean thoroughly while treating your home with care and respect.
If you have blinds that are older, brittle, or of concern, we recommend:
As always, if something happens during your cleaning, our team will communicate with you and the office right away so we can talk through the situation together.
These types of cleanings are scheduled based on the depth of work required, which is typically greater than a repeat service visit.
One-time cleanings, initial visits, and move-in / move-out services generally require two to four times more labor than an ongoing maintenance clean, depending on the size of the home, its condition, and the selections made during your consultation.
Because of this, we don’t place these cleanings into standard recurring routes. Instead, we:
If you choose to continue with repeat service after your initial or one-time cleaning, we’ll then move you into a consistent, recurring service slot going forward.
Whether you’re booking a one-time cleaning, move-in / move-out service, or repeat service, our scheduling questions are the same and are designed to keep things clear and consistent.
We’ll always ask two things:
We do not offer additional time window variations outside of these options. This structure allows us to staff consistently, route efficiently, and ensure your cleaning is completed thoroughly without rushing.
Once you’ve decided that Clean Bees is the right fit for your repeat service needs, your sales consultant will guide you through this process.
We’ll ask you to provide two equally workable scheduling preferences (for example, two different days and or timeframes that would both genuinely work for you — not a first choice and a fallback).
From there, we will:
Once established, this slot is considered your ongoing service window and allows us to provide reliable, predictable scheduling for both you and your cleaning team.
Please expect that your “permanent spot” will shift slightly in efforts to maintain a full and well routed schedule for our Homekeepers, if this happens we will email you your revised permanent spot in our schedule.
Yes — appointment reminders are sent by email for every scheduled cleaning a day in advance.
Here’s how it works:
These reminders include:
No matter what time your appointment falls during the day, reminders are always sent at 7:00 AM the business day prior, giving you plenty of time to prepare.
Our scheduling policies are designed with two important goals in mind:
When a cleaning is skipped or canceled at the last minute, it can create a negative ripple effect — disrupting our team’s workday, impacting other clients, and requiring our office to quickly rebuild the schedule. While these requests are never made with bad intent, they do have very real effects on the people who care for your home.
Here’s how we balance flexibility with fairness:
To request any of the above please use our Client Request Form.
In a one-time cleaning, clients have the flexibility to build a cleaning that fits their specific needs. Most clients choose to “go for it,” meaning we clean every part of the home, including every essential task and every rotated task in every room.
Here’s how that works:
That said, a one-time cleaning doesn’t have to be whole-house if you don’t need it to be. Some clients only want certain areas — like all bathrooms, or just the main living level — cleaned deeply for a special occasion or hosting event. During your Virtual walkthrough, we’ll discuss your goals, understand your priorities, and provide multiple options and price points so you can choose what fits your needs and budget.
Once you select your preferred option, we’ll get you scheduled in time to meet your deadlines. If you’re looking for a high-quality, high-caliber one-time clean — no matter the size or scope — Clean Bees delivers exceptional results and peace of mind.
For furnished homes, we use a comprehensive, transparent cleaning checklist so you know exactly what’s included in your service and what you’re paying for.
All cleaning tasks fall into two categories:
Essential tasks are completed at every visit. These are the areas of your home that see the most consistent use and naturally require regular attention.
Common examples include:
Rotated tasks are areas that don’t need attention at every visit but still require ongoing care to maintain the home over time.
Examples of rotated tasks include:
Here’s how rotated tasks are handled across different cleaning types:
Our full task lists are shared during your consultation and are also available here.
If you’re wondering how we keep your entire space feeling consistently cared for — here’s the simple answer: we follow a rhythm.
Our checklist consists of two layers of cleaning tasks: Essential and Rotated. While we have a foundational standard for what falls into each category, your service has been customized because no two spaces are the same, and your work order reflects that. In other words, what is essential in your space could vary from another client's. That said, defining essential vs. rotated simply determines the cadence of when a task is included — not the level of care it receives.
View our Checklist>
Your Team Chooses Rooms on Rotation So you don't have to!
Your work order is built with the rooms listed in a sequence. When your team arrives on cleaning day, they don't guess what room is next but rather reference your Room Rotation Log, note which areas were completed last visit, and move to the next room(s) listed on your custom work order.
It’s a structured, thoughtful system designed to keep your entire space consistently maintained.
When you select rooms out of order, it causes hiccups in our system and ultimately could result in confusion or worse, rooms getting missed. Please allow the team to follow the routine ensuring your home gets the attention it deserves
If you have questions about your work order & room rotation log, let's get on the same page! Simply choose 'Revise my Work Order' in the dropdown menu on our Client Request Form and put your questions there.
Yes — we sure do!
You can request oven, fridge, or other larger add-on tasks through our Client Request Form. The form will include current pricing and ask about your scheduling preferences.
We can schedule these add-on services:
These detailed add-ons help you tailor your cleaning to fit exactly what you want done — no stress, no guesswork. You can also add on rooms that are not regularly included. Any reoccurring service, simply use our Client Request Form.
Yes — there are some tasks that fall outside the scope of what we ask our cleaning teams to handle.
While we are a professional cleaning company, there is an important distinction between cleaning and work that involves safety risks, restoration, or specialized services. Our goal is to deliver a high-quality clean while also protecting your home, your belongings, and our team.
Health & Safety Concerns
For the safety of everyone involved, we do not clean:
These situations require specialized equipment and training beyond the scope of residential cleaning.
Height & Accessibility Limits
For safety and insurance reasons, we do not clean:
Risk of Damage or Liability
We take great care in your home, but we do not handle:
If something is especially valuable or sentimental, we recommend placing it out of the cleaning area.
Repairs, Maintenance & Restoration
We are focused on cleaning — not repair or restoration work. This means we do not provide:
Exterior & Specialty Services
We do not provide:
That said, we’re happy to connect you with trusted Total Home Care partners for services outside our scope.
This is a great question — and one we see often.
At Clean Bees, we take a very thorough and detailed approach to cleaning showers. Our process includes multiple steps designed to remove soap scum, buildup, and surface staining, including focused attention on grout lines and caulking.
In many cases, this process produces a dramatic improvement.
However, if discoloration remains after a thorough clean, it’s typically not a cleaning issue — it’s a maintenance issue.
Here’s why:
Grout and caulking are porous materials, and over time they can absorb moisture, minerals, and even mold beneath the surface. When that happens, discoloration can show through even after the area has been properly cleaned.
This is especially common with:
When we reach this point, additional cleaning will not change the result. The area may require:
These types of services fall outside the scope of cleaning and into home maintenance or repair.
Our commitment is to clean every surface to the highest standard possible. If something does not come clean through our full process, it’s our way of signaling that the material itself likely needs attention beyond cleaning.
If you’re ever unsure, we’re happy to take a look and guide you in the right direction — including recommending Trusted Partners when needed
Your first visit is billed will fall within the price range outlined in your estimate.
You’ll receive an invoice by email within approximately three business days after the cleaning. Payment is made electronically using one of the following options:
For repeat service clients, autopay is required. Once set up:
Should you choose to tip your cleaners you can do so in the post cleaning survey and a separate charge to the card on file will post within a week.
Our goal is simple: you should be able to walk into a clean home, relax, and enjoy your space — without having to think about billing. Secure electronic autopay allows us to keep things seamless and stress-free for you.
Once your billing client portal has been set up you can access it through the link or any invoice to review past transactions & keep your payment method up to date.
Yes. Autopay is required for all repeat service clients.
Your recurring price remains consistent, and your stored payment method is processed automatically within 1–3 business days after each cleaning. This system supports predictable pricing, smooth scheduling, and one less thing for you to manage.
After your initial visit, an invoice will be emailed to you. From there you will set up your Client Billing Portal. and submit payment for your first cleaning – autopay will be turned on at this time.
To reserve your appointment, a deposit is required at the time of booking, and autopay is set up at that time as well to bill the remained of the cleaning after service.
We accept:
Once your one-time or move-out cleaning is complete, the remaining balance is charged automatically to your stored payment method within approximately three business days. Your final total will align with the estimate you were provided.
Gratuity is never expected, but it is always appreciated.
We make tipping easy by including the option directly in your post-cleaning survey, which you’ll receive after each visit. Many clients choose to leave around 5% for a job well done, though tipping is completely optional.
A few things to know:
Whether or not you choose to tip, your team will always provide the same high level of care and attention to your home.
First, please know this: cash gratuities are never expected, and appreciation doesn’t have to come in the form of cash to be meaningful.
Many wonderful clients have found creative, heartfelt ways to say thank you. One of our all-time favorites is a 95-year-old client who shows appreciation by making his famous meatball sandwiches for the team — they’re legendary, and people will happily fight to clean his home.
Other ways clients have expressed gratitude include:
It’s also worth noting that we have an internal recognition program for cleaners who receive a five-star Google review with their name included. When this happens, each named cleaner earns a $25 cash bonus from the company as recognition for delivering on our mission of Superior Service, Spotless Living. If your team wowed you, putting their names in a review is a powerful way to say thank you.
At the end of the day, we’re here to make your life easier. Cleaning homes is hard work, and many of our team members do it full-time. Any form of appreciation — spoken, written, or shared — is deeply felt and truly valued.
Yes, a 50% deposit (maximum of $300.00) is required for all one-time cleanings. That includes moving in and moving out services.
To schedule we:
Identify the first available opening that can accommodate the full scope of the work completed in one day
Schedule the cleaning based on your stated timelines or deadlines
Plan internally to ensure the job can be completed thoroughly and without rushing
Its best if all your personal belongings are moved out. Anything that is to stay with the property is compiled in one location so It is clear to us that those things stay on site. Often we will see a pile of things that stay with the property that might include touchup paint, an extra set of blinds, a strip of carpet for repair etc. We will not remove items that we identify in that category. All other items left behind are considered trash and will be placed in trash bins on site. If no trash bins are available, the team will leave trash/personal items bagged in the garage or, as a last resort, the kitchen. We do not remove anything from the premises.
To reserve your appointment, a deposit is required at the time of booking, and autopay is set up at that time as well.
We accept:
Once your one-time or move-out cleaning is complete, the remaining balance is charged automatically to your stored payment method within approximately three business days. Your final total will align with the estimate you were provided.
You will receive a post to cleaning survey and should you choose to offer gratuity to your team you can do so right there and an additional charge will be processed to the card on file. Gratuity or not, we will make sure the vacant property shines!
Your move-in/move-out cleaning is designed for vacant properties being turned over for a new tenant or homeowner, and our approach is built to deliver a thorough, stress-free clean so you can focus on your move rather than mess.
We offer three customizable levels of service — Good, Better, and Best — each tailored for different goals, timelines, and budgets:
Good
Focuses on the high-priority areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms, and includes a sweep, vacuum, and mop throughout the rest of the home. This option is perfect if you’ve already done some cleaning yourself or just want the essentials handed off cleanly.
Better
A balanced approach that targets kitchens and bathrooms thoroughly while including some additional detail work in other areas. It’s a great middle ground if you want more than the basics without going all-in.
Best
Our most detailed and intensive service, covering every room and every task on our checklist. This option leaves nothing overlooked and is ideal for security deposit standards, new home move-ins, or when only the most thorough clean will do.
All move-in/move-out cleanings are quoted based on your specific home and needs after a virtual or photo walkthrough — no guesswork or one-size-fits-all pricing. Once you choose the level that works best, we schedule a full team with the time and scope required to meet your expectations.
For move-in / move-out cleanings, you don’t need to supply anything at all.
Our team brings all necessary products, tools, and equipment required to complete the job from start to finish. These cleanings are more intensive, and we plan accordingly so you don’t have to.
If you ever have questions about products, allergies, or special requests, we encourage you to reach out ahead of your cleaning — we’d rather over-communicate than miss your expectations.
At Clean Bees, every detail of your service is designed with care, intention, and long-term consistency in mind. Below is a look at what you can expect when you partner with us.
Personalized Service
Your home isn't generic. Your cleaning shouldn't be either.
Responsible Employer
Great cleanings start with great cleaners.
Quality Focused
The details matter. Always.
Trusted & Established
Experience you can count on.
A note from me, personally.
When I think about Clean Bees and the type of service I want our clients to experience, it always comes back to one simple idea:
I built this company around the service I would want to receive in my own home.
The service you experience here is a true reflection of me as a business owner — my values, my standards, and the way I believe people should be treated.
I am deeply serious about offering high-caliber, high-quality cleaning, no matter what type of service you choose. Whether you hire us for a one-time deep clean, a move-out cleaning, monthly bathroom service, or full-house weekly care, the level of intention behind your service is the same. Quality is not negotiable here.
I’m picky about our cleaners — because I would be if they were cleaning my home. I personally interview and hire each team member. We invite them into a small family, not just onto a schedule. I am not an absentee owner sitting on a beach somewhere. I’m here — in the business — day in and day out. I work mornings, nights, weekends, and everything in between to build something that our clients and our employees can be proud of.
But great service doesn’t stop with hiring good people. It’s built through exceptional training and meaningful support.
We invest heavily in training — not just how to clean well (though that matters a lot), but how to deliver great service. We teach routines, communication, and confidence so our cleaners feel successful, supported, and proud of their work. When someone leaves training, they are a true representation of this company.
I understand that Clean Bees will be judged not on me — because most of our clients will never meet me — but by the person who shows up at their door. That person might have been with us for three weeks or three years. I take that responsibility very seriously.
I once read about how Michelin-star restaurants achieve consistency:
Every plate matters. Every vegetable is cooked properly. Every detail counts. Excellence isn’t accidental — it’s built intentionally, one plate at a time.
I’ve taken that same philosophy into Clean Bees.
How do you build an exceptional cleaning business?
It starts with our people — and it ends with our people.
Every person trained well. Every person supported well. Every person set up to succeed.
Behind the scenes, there is an entire support system working for you.
Our sales process isn’t about square footage — and that’s intentional. We could price that way, but we choose not to. Instead, we focus on preferences, priorities, and getting to know you and your home. Your work order is built thoughtfully so that every cleaner who enters your home knows what matters to you, room by room. That’s how I would want my home cleaned — so that’s how we do it.
You also have real humans supporting you — on purpose.
In a world full of chatbots and automated replies, we’ve chosen something different. When you call or email us, you reach a real, local person who knows your account and cares about your experience. I recently spent far too much time arguing with a chatbot over a broken hairdryer — and I was reminded just how frustrating that can be. That is not the experience I want for you.
On the operations side, managing a team of 40–50 cleaners (many of them in their early 20s) requires strong leadership and a lot of heart. I joke that every gray hair on my head came from a 20-year-old — but the truth is, when people are hired thoughtfully, trained well, and supported with care, they rise to the occasion. Our management team exists to help them do exactly that.
We are also growth-minded. Mistakes can happen — we clean hundreds of homes and countless square feet every week. Perfection without error isn’t realistic, but excellent service in how we respond absolutely is. When something is missed, we act quickly, make it right, and retrain — not to criticize, but to support improvement. That matters to me because it’s how I would want to be treated.
Clean Bees is quality-driven because I am quality-driven.
You get preferences because I have preferences.
You get easy billing because I want one less thing to worry about.
Our cleaners get strong training and supportive management because I was once a cleaner myself — when I moved to Fort Collins in 2001 — and I know how much that matters.
This business has been built from the ground up, with love, dedication, and intention.
And I couldn’t write this without acknowledging — Emily. She joined Clean Bees back in 2007 and has held nearly every role in the company. Today, she works side-by-side with me on the big picture: strengthening systems, improving training, refining processes, and making sure every moving part of this business works better for our clients and our team. From software to sales tools, training programs to account management systems — her
fingerprints are everywhere. She shares my commitment to excellence and shows up every single day to help make this company the very best it can be.
At the end of the day, Clean Bees exists to make your life easier.
To give you a home that feels cared for.
To deliver Superior Service, Spotless Living — consistently and thoughtfully.
Thank you for trusting us with your home. Your business truly means the world to us.
With gratitude,
Katie Straubel
