This is a special room in the home that deserves special attention.

The sink is one area in the kitchen that can get dirty and start looking dingy quickly. From dumping food scraps to dropping pots and pans into the sink, your sink sees a lot of wear and tear. Luckily, there are many different ways to polish your sink and give it a shiny new appearance.
A mix of baking soda and rubbing alcohol is a great, natural way to polish your sink. To use this method to polish your sink, simply mix baking soda with a bit of rubbing alcohol to create a paste. Use a sponge to scrub the paste around the sink and then rinse! Your sink will have a nice sparkle that will give your kitchen a clean look.
For stainless steel sinks, you can polish it with flour. To do this, you will wash and dry your sink as you usually would before sprinkling flour in the entire sink. Then use a sponge to start buffing! Your stainless steel sink will be clean, sparkly, and beautiful.
While a clean sink is important, you will also want to make sure there is no funky odor coming from your sink. Your garbage disposal can collect food bits and become stinky over time. There are many simple ways to rid your sink of this nasty odor but our favorite is to use baking soda and lemon juice! This will also help clear your pipes of clogs, which is likely the reason your sink stinks in the first place. Flush your drain with hot water before slowly pouring baking soda down it. Then pour about a cup of lemon juice down your sink to create a fizzy chemical reaction. This will unclog your pipes and leave your sink smelling lemony fresh.
The stove is another area in your kitchen that can get grimy quickly. From pots boiling over to spaghetti sauce splatters, your stove sees a ton of messes, and it can be difficult to clean up the entire mess. But giving your stove a good deep cleaning can help keep your kitchen looking beautiful.
If you have a stove with burners and burner pans, you know how difficult it can be to clean. You may have tried everything only to find that nothing has worked for you. To effectively clean your stone burners, you will want to remove the burners and pans from your stove. There are many methods that you can use to clean these parts, but one of the best is ammonia. Put your burners and burner pans in a ziplock bag and add some ammonia. Swish it around and leave your stove parts in the bag overnight. Then rinse them with water and put them back on your range! You will be amazed at home much cleaner they will look. You could also soak them in your sink in hot soapy water before scrubbing them clean.
While your stove parts are soaking, be sure to wipe down the inside of the burners and the rest of the range. Use hot, soapy water or baking soda and lemon to clean the range and remove old food particles that have been burnt onto your stovetop. Make sure you clean all the nooks and crannies of your stove to help make it sparkle and give your kitchen a beautiful look.
For glass stovetops, you can use a lemon and baking soda to clean and polish. Rub a slice of lemon on the surface of your stovetop and then sprinkle baking soda over it. Gently scrub your stove with a sponge and wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Your glass stovetop will be shiny and clean in no time!
Your kitchen cabinets can see a lot of buildup of grease, grime, dust, and oils from cooking. While wiping down your cabinets regularly might be time consuming, it is a great way to give your kitchen a clean look and help keep everything looking as good as new. You will be amazed at how different your kitchen looks after cleaning all of the cabinets. While there are many ways to clean your cabinets, an all-purpose cleaner will work great! You could also use a mix of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to scrub your cabinets and give them a clean, fresh look. Giving your cabinets a deep clean once a year will help your kitchen look better, but we also suggest dusting them or quickly wiping them down at least once a month.
