This will help minimize the puddles tracked through your home and keep it all in a contained area. Adding a doormat to the outside of your front door, garage door, and even your back door can help to absorb some of the water before it comes into your home.
When the snow melts, mud will be your biggest concern. Doormats can really come in handy when mud is the issue. The strong bristles of a doormat can help remove any mud trapped on the shoes of your friends and family.
